Hello! I am a Computer Engineering student from the University of Waterloo. I love to work on embedded systems, especially within safety critical environments. Currently, I am building the OTA firmware update infrastructure for UW Orbital, a 3U cube satellite design team. The game Kerbal Space Program sparked my love for space when I was 12. I'm unspeakably grateful to be working in the field now, 6 years later.
I am always learning, but currently proficient at RTOS, safety critical C, communication protocols, Cortex-R and Cortex-M architectures, and flash memory. Below are linked some of the projects in which I gained said skills:
I am also very interested in control theory, and am actively looking for undergraduate research opportunities in the field. If you are in need of an RA, let me know! I am also looking for a summer coop. If I look like a good match, contact me.
In my free time, I love to climb. I'm currently projecting a V4, but rather unsuccessfully. I also love to read, and produce video games. I believe video games are like books, but stand out in that they allow the reader to directly interact with the story. It serves as my artistic outlet, and allows me to express ideas I couldn't otherwise put into words. I'm currently working on a catalogue of said games, which I plan to eventually showcase on this website. Finally, I love cars! My grail is a 1997 Honda NSX. Working towards that dream everyday.
